Research Interest

Animal study helps understand human behavior and cognition as there is something common between the intelligence of humans and animals. Therefore, his research interest focuses on human and animal 9e.g., rats) learning and cognition. In particular, he investigates human and animal higher-order cognition. More specifically, he examines same/different discrimination learning and oddity discrimination learning in humans and animals. His research interest also focuses on the psychopharmacological study. Specifically, he investigates the function of some brain regions (e.g., prefrontal cortex) responsible for cognitive flexibility that is impaired in a number of neuropsychiatric (e.g., schizophrenia and depression) and neurodegenerative diseases (e.g., Parkinson’s disease).
